In the last few years my sister has always joked that certain activities are FFF or forced family fun. Most of the time at least one member of the family doesn't want to participate but according to the FFF rules, you have to and you have to smile while doing it. This past weekend we all went to the Texas State Fair. I am happy to report there was no FFF involved. Next week my little brother turns 18 (not so little anymore) so my mom brought him and some of his friends up to Dallas to enjoy the fair. We had a really great time. It was my husbands first trip to the fair and here is a list of all the incredible fair food we ate:
3 Corny dogs (my sister will argue technically four because one was a foot long)
2 Cups of Dip n Dots
4 Orders Chocolate Strawberry Waffle Balls, see pic below (yes it is a strawberry dipped in chocolate then dipped in waffle batter and deep fried and then covered with powdered sugar. that just happened)
1 Order twisted tornado (kind of like fresh potato chips)
1 Strawberry and banana fruit kabob dipped in chocolate
2 Cups fresh lemonade
1 Cup handmade root beer1 Banana pudding
1 Funnel cake
Yes we are still sick from all the fair food but it was oh so worth it.
